OUCH!!!
I'm sitting at home right now trying to fight off the go to sleep effects of my pain meds. Got up on a horse last night (nope, not Breeze) who decided he didn't want to be ridden and while I was trying to adjust the saddle (no feet in the stirrups and totally off balance), he decided to bolt, making a quick turn when he reached the fence sending me flying off and through the fence (wooden). Got up and ran that horses butt off for 15 minutes before I had to stop because the lower left side of my back hurt so bad. Got in the Jeep (a little tough to do) and headed to the walk-in clinic for X-rays (Brandon followed). The pain was so bad I was bawling like a baby. Needless to say, my name went to the top of the list and I got into the Doc. right away. Doctor was expecting a compression fracture in my spine but the X-rays came back negative for breaks. Looks like I only did ligament damage, thank God, but holy cow does it hurt! The nurse gave me a couple of hard-core pain pills and I was sooo thankful! Made me sleepy but at least they put a slight dent in the pain. Brandon drove me home, every twisting movement or flexing of my muscles sending shards of pain through my back. Put an ice pack on the sore area and went to bed. Had to get up in the middle of the night for another pain pill and nearly passed out I hurt so bad. I'm feeling a little better this morning--at least I'm not passing out when I get up. The pain meds are helping, but I just can't keep my eyes open! So, I guess it's more ice and pain pills for me and my nice warm bed for the rest of the day. :

Java: Did you see my entry on what my other half did yesterday on the "other" column? She feels nearly as bad this morning. Take care and try to rest and recoup. Don't laugh a lot for a day or two.

Maybe I'm just jucky, but I've been riding horses since I was 10 and I have yet to fall off. Did Western Pleasure, Barrels, Cutting, and I haven't fallen off yet (knock on wood). Just stay in bed and move as little as possible. Sorry to hear that though.
