Thats MR Hoss to you buddy!
It always impresses me to see the number of people who offer up prayers to our living God when a DTR friend is in need of them. I think it's great that so many people on this board recognize the power of prayer.

Good luck to you Houndog and keep your head high. A very close co-worker of mine just went through this and just got her clean bill of health yesterday.
You have a tough road ahead of you, so be prepared to swap out that track bar and maybe some ball joints once you reach the end it, but stay Ram Tough and use that Cummins to power through it!!!

I talked with Hounddog's wife today. She would like us to send the "Get well soon" cards to this address so she can get them to him. Let's give them that famous DTR "GET WELL SOON!!!" response. 100 should do the trick.

Thanks for everyone's help. I just wanted to give them the support they need. I hope someone would do the same for you and me.
I am sending my card tomorrow 3/28/07.

100 My rearend (and not my trucks). I think the mail box is gonna be overloaded. Spooler, do you know if he's still at Emery? I'm gonna be back in Atlanta next weekend and would be glad to drop by and wish a fellow DTR member a speedy recovery. And my prayers are with him and his family also.

Just got an email from David's wife Ellen.
Hi, everybody. Sorry for the email instead of a phone call, but this is the best way to get word out to as many folks as possible, and frankly I can't go through the repetition right now. As some of you already know, David came out of remission from leukemia a couple of weeks ago. This time, after the first chemo, he contracted a massive e.coli infection which has gone through him like wildfire. Along with the e.coli itself, the drugs to try and fight it have resulted in multiple organ failure. In accordance with his wishes, this Sunday he is being moved to the Emory hospice wing to receive comfort support, and on Tuesday his ventilator will be removed to allow him to pass peacefully away. There is no set time frame after this, God will decide. He wants cremation, so I will let everyone know about whatever memorial, wake, or such may follow. Please, no flowers! Anyone who wishes is urged to make a donation to their favorite charity in his memory.
