Gotta love that monster military COE look.

Keep an eye on ebay motors. See the old COEs there regularly.

HEY! your in oregon!! You should invite me to come see it! Any pics?? My wife just rolls her eyes when I keep reminding her I want to build that truck! She says "only you!"

I just cjecked out your pics. You did the injector swap during the Dyno run? I was there. Cool. My truck did not have the topper on it then.

I kinda made a deal several years ago for a 1951 or 52 White COE for making a slantback out of. I found another just like it in same area and even bought a caved-in 1974 Winnebago Brave for the running gear to drop the cab on. These old COE cabs are still around but they are subject to having been donors for commercial fleets many years ago - sometimes ain't much left of them that is useful.

Good luck finding enough of a truck to be able to salvage. What I am considering is dropping a 12V CTD in the Winnie frame and adding the White COE cab. This will give me power steering and front disk brakes and a really cool cab.

However, the wife and old house are conspiring to keep me entirely too busy to "play with rusty old metal" these days. Ever notice when you have time there is never enough money but when you have money there is never enough time?

Good luck and don't give up the dream........
