OTOH, if the cars weren't kept there, they'd be made into washing machines by now.

So, I guess it's all perspective.

I do, agree with you about the sadness instilled by this article, but there is hope that someone will come along and do the right thing.

I feel I need to inspect my weed wacker

I've seen too many hordes rot into the ground with the notion that I'll get around to it some day. There is a guy just less than a mile from me has a 10 acres of old Ford trucks just rotting into the dirt and weeds. Most of which are no longer restorable. Won't even sell parts. There is another guy across the valley with a horde of Mopar's. Same thing. My old 83 Ramcharger wound up there. It was a perfect running rig when I sold it. It's scrap now.

Sad about your old ride. Too many, including my 68 cuda. Scrapped years ago to pillage the engine and trans out of it.

Here's a bit of a dream

Got $3300 ?

In my hometown in SoCal there were 3 Superbird/Daytona's beside a guys house about 100 yards off the road, covered in tarps. His property was surrounded by fencing and had No Trespassing signs on every post....wondered what ever became
of those....
