Asphalt over old asphalt
I am curious,I have a crew coming out to resurface my driveway, well most of the old asphalt has come up and has bee removed, but some is still down should all of it come up?
There is concrete under that, most of the estimates I have gotten they say it either needs to come up or it dont.
Any info would be great..Thanks

Well there is only a couple feet of the old asphalt left, they are here now and they will take up what is left if I want to,but he says it makes a good base also as long as it is still bonded to the concrete and he says it is.
The concrete HE says is a big problem because it freezes and expands, but I was just worried about the old asphalt but if it will be ok I willnot worry.
They will put 3.5 inches of new stuff he will put down.
