Gorgeous morning to the sniffers. Wow, sure purdy out there. Flowers are going crazy and so is the grass. Put fresh coffee and ph00 on and brought some Baked French Bread along for breaky - - sooooo good.

I am in hot water with the Bride because we have no hot water. I can't complain as the original water heater lasted 20 years. The problem? We have LP everything and nobody stocks LP water heaters anywhere near me. Ordered one, won't be in until Tuesday. I can make do by making an outdoor solar shower out of a 55 gallon barrel or just showering at work. Did you know how expensive a LP power vent heater is?????

Coffee and ph00 are hot, fresh and ready to be guzzled. Somebody else can bring some suitable early morning grub.

When mine went the cheapest power vent LP I could find was stupid expensive compared to the flue vent style.
I switched back to Electric, I will be old and feeble before I spend the difference. That was a couple of years ago, and if I remember it right, the flue vent LP was 389 bucks, direct ( power ) vent was 1800....... So I spent the 359 bucks for a Electric and never looked back.

Yup, power vent. I got the old one restarted today. What I did, was activate the gas flow valve at just the right time with a 12vdc power supply. It is a 24 VAC, but a quick dc jolt got it working. It is now 20 years old, and was on a well with extreme calcium for about 12 years. The bladder is caked with scale that wont flush out. I have the new one on order, my cost 980. Install will be by me with a Master Plumber present for the "legal". (I work with him.) He will cost me beer and bullets.
