Re:Nuff Said!

Unfortunately, Democrats took control of both the North Carolina House and Senate, but I am still very happy about the Trifecta. Oh well, I guess NC will be going even more into debt because of the increased spending. We used to have a great economy here. Nafta has been slowly killing it since all of the textile and mfg. companies have been moving to Mexico.

Now I have nothing against Mexico. If I lived there, I would be happy about it, but I am very unhappy about fast track and NAFTA. Why can we not repeal this?

Re:Nuff Said!

Already tired of listening to all the rationalists, experts and apologists on why the Dems failed to carry the day. Out here, we had a proposition to raise the gas tax another 9 cents (which would have made us NUMBER One, again, in the nation) to supposedly fix the roads. The powers that be failed to listen to the people prior to the election. We told them we don't trust the State Transportation Department to do their job. Simply put, we just don't trust them. The prop is failing so miserably, you'd think they'd get a clue. Nope, yesterday and this morning, the ol' gov just rambled on how they've got to get something going. They just don't understand why we shot down this prop. Now it's time to work on the local government. They haven't a clue either. Sorry for rambling on. Putting away the soap box.

Re:Nuff Said!

Since republicans now control what the democraps used to, I eagerly await a tax cut that will hopefully fund a new edge comp and some injectors. Happy day!!! BullFrogjim

If everybody would complain about these things we might get our Gov't to start bringing our workbase back. I am fortunate that My Congressman is easily accessible to me, not all are. So everybody write them and tell them you are sick of sending our jobs over seas and that we need to take care of OUR children first!
Enough letters and they start listening!

Duane, imagine that, spending money on what we want to in a free country...
Now I dont have a problem helping some guy out who is a little down on his luck, but when people start expecting government handouts it has become a problem.
I would rather donate money to an efficient charity that uses the money wisely rather than having that same money caught in another stupid democrap bureaucracy.

Re:Nuff Said!

Me neither. Although I tend to agree more with the Republican views, I vote for the one I feel is the best person for the job, not whether they are Democrat, Republican, etc.

CR
