Looks like I get to start the break room for this week.

Sitting in a motel room waiting for the sun to come up so I can fly my new plane home.

Pretty country, upstate NY is. People are goofy....or maybe I am. Not sure how the south lost the war to these folks. They seem to want to argue with themselves about everything.

If you don't hear from me again you know this piece of poop plane didn't make it.

I got to sleep in this morning, I did not have to get up until 0400. It was like a day off. Lights are about to go, off to the chow hall, and then it's field day. I can get some boys right with that... Church after that...

Morning, trying to get my body used to getting up at 4:30 so I can get to work tomorrow. I've got a deal to write for a scholarship so that's also why I'm up early, I'm driving back down to school/work this morning if everything goes right.
Geico, I'd say by putting "Normal" in the breakroom title that it would exclude the bulk of DTR, but I guess looking at the first 3 to post, that it didn't. ('cause we sure ain't normal)

Spent yesterday making long limbs into short limbs and making burn piles on our soon-to-be retirement property.
If "you're only as old as you feel", I must be about 347 years old this mornng.

I hear ya!! Shovel!! hauled 24 cord of wood yesterday and stacked it to get ready for the 2 log loads coming in by end of month. feels good to get a jump on next winter's heat supply! Feels like a sumo wrestler sat on my back!


put harley on charge and went through the fluid levels
sealed boat stern drive unit , ready to install
leave other one on boat and just seal exterior cover seals and grease joints
put new refrig onboard and install
cut weeds in Japanese garden and decided I LIKE the look of ruins...
took off log grapple and put york rake on tractor (official start of summer now)
Prayed for MADHAT and all the ones serving!
got an ice cream cone with my husband
watched the college drop out get excited by putting in a job application to a factory all by himself then come stack another 13 cords -by himself.

Morning all It's 830 here now, been up for awhile doing yard work with the old man. Think we are going to head into town and get some breakfast. Other than that, not sure what the day will bring. We shall see. Take care.

 

HEY, GOOD MORNING ALL ! got home from work ,took one of the new mares (supposed to be WELL broke) for a try ...YIKES... must have been Well broke years ago LOL we were goin EVERY WHICH WAY BUT STRAIGHT ! but 2 hours later ...we are all feeling good about ourselves and NO broken parts on either of us IS a good thing

Raining cats and dogs. Got rained out of trap shoot this morning. Decided to get my Lawn Boy push mower running. Every spring requires dismantling the carb on the stupid thing and cleaning jets and such. Doesn't make any difference if I drain the gas or not, won't start come spring. Tear it apart, clean it all up. Put it back together, walk over to turn radio on. Stupid thing still won't start, and now gas running out the carb. Pretty sure I put the needle in wrong somehow , so now I've got to dismantle the POS again and reassemble correctly. I hate that mower.

 

Afternoon all! Watching the race today, going to church tonight, youth group afterwards. All around a normal Sunday.

Coffee is still the same. I think some ethanol or gas is needed to clean the coffee pot this morning. All gone now. Making some more as we speak.

Victory over the Lawn Boy. I had reversed the stinkin float on the pin, so it was holding the needle open. Actually runs alot better than it did last year, I wonder if I missed a hole or two on one of the jets last year. I hate that mower.
