Non-Christians?
lots of good stuff here , my 2 worthless scence are thats its to personal to preach, once someone starts to preach , it breaks the other side of the freedom of religion rule- the freedom from religion.

But think about this, if your wrong, and never accept Jesus as your savior, then you had fun for 40, 50, 60, or 70 years, but now comes eternity which you will spend the rest of trying to find some way to get that immense burning sensation to cool down which it never will.

There is no being wrong for a religion pusher, it seems they never consider they might be wrong. They would like you to believe it has to be their way or hell.
If you need the guise of religion to help you overcome the evil inside you then so be it. Just don't push it upon us that realize the evil is within your own control.
Christians can understand it when a muslim wants to convert them and they don't want nothin doin with it, but they don't realize it's the same thing when they try to convert us. Then they just can't figure out why were so blinded to their truth.
Heh.. Used to have a sign at the beginning of my driveway.

Always wondered what would happen if everyone found out that religion was nothing more than a sham.

Lets just say, that although I'm not in a hurry to die, I'm not afraid and when I'm on my deathbed, I know where I'll be going.

Hard to do when your belief system is so ingrained, that you can't possibly fathom an alternative?
Not deflecting, just trying to understand your rational. trying to understand who or what has hurt you in the past that causes you to want to try and discredit something so wonderful. Funny thing is, no matter how you look at it, whether you believe it or not; Jesus died for you as much as he did for me.
I have not always been a Christian. As a matter of fact I only became a Christian a little over a year ago. I do not have no where near all the answers.

Tom,
So say there is irrefutable proof. There are 2 possible sides. People no longer have a reason to argue over religion. So theoretically, a lot of the world's conflicts would no longer have any basis (Israel, the Middle East, Terrorists/fanatical Muslims), and the world would be a more peaceful place. I guess we'd just have to get over ourselves and realize we're no different from any other living thing.
On the other hand, there is no longer any reason to live a moral lifestyle. No reason not to lie, cheat, steal, kill etc. There is no one to answer to but yourself. You get 70-80 years of life, do whatever you want with it, there's no consequences. That would be a scary thing.
I know I'm probably walking into a trap here, so let me have it.
