No longer a Cummins owner
Well I watched my 06 pull out of the driveway tonight. Life circumstances change and I no longer need to spend money on a truck like this, so hopefully the next owner will put it to good use.
I will be hanging around here from time to time. My plan is to take some cash and get an older crewcab Ford, and hopefully do a 12 valve swap someday. I am sure I will find this forum as useful for the 12 valve as it was for the 3rd generation.
Thanks to everyone for the information I gained over the last couple of years!

Thanks guys. For me it was purely a wants versus needs thing at this point. Fortunately the economy here is still booming compared to the rest of the country so I came out of the deal ok. I wouldn't call it a misfortune, more like a change in direction.
I am a Ford guy at heart, but have really grown to like the Cummins. So someday I would like to marry the two and live happily ever after!

If you must have a ford then these guys can help, http://www.fordcummins.com/
I will say my first truck was a ford, the one previous to this one was a ford and I have never had a gm truck.
