Neat! Still not sure I could deal with it in 0 visability.
I used to work on the HUD's for the 18's... you want to talk about precision tuning? We spent hours bore sighting (aligning) them.
The combiner ( two pieces of glass that the optics project the image on) cost 76k for the day attack, over 100k for the night... that was about 8 years ago, too...
I'm glad I'm not a pilot, that's all I'll say about that.
