Stay away from neurontin. oxycontin is good, too good. kicking the oxy was two weeks of hell. After a year I'm back to work and walking without a cane.
Can't drive a stick though.

After two months in ICU you realize that there is always someone worse off than you.

I tell everyone I can to stay away from oxycotin. That stuff is synthetic heroin and is extremely addicting. It ends up causing more problems than it could ever help. BAD NASTY STUFF!!

It also causes you to lose your hearing. That's what happened to Rush Limbaugh.

This thread scares the heck out of me. They wanted to replace the left knee a couple of years ago and I just keep putting them off. And will till I can't take the pain anymore. I have that, bad circulation in my legs and both nerves damaged from two back operations in the past. It's been fun.... but unfortuantely I can see the end of this CTD thing. I have resolved that I will keep running it till I can't crawl in the cab anymore. The clutch works ok, sometimes I have to lift my knee up with both hands to get it on the pedal

Hey, another month or so and the weather will clear some, the hot weather is much easier on the old joints

Haulin in Dixie, Everyone, I repeat Everyone, responds differently to Total Knee Surgery. It truly comes down to the individual person and the skill of the Doc.

BTW the longer you wait, the more overall damage, the more complex the surgery, the more difficutl rehab can be.

not trying to sell you into having the surgery, just informing you.

Yeah I have been keeping my options open. Been thinking of and looking into the Allison 3060 in one of its forms. See another reason for the cab lift coming soon. I have the ECM set up for the 3060 in the shop. Came with the engine. This engine was setup in a Peterbilt 330 with a 3060 behind it.
