The New and Improved DTR Breakroom—But wait, there’s more!!
Hey, Somebody needs to open a new breakroom. I did it a couple of weeks ago and haven’t recovered yet. Just getting the dragon to move is bad enough without having to get a new pot brewing. Somebody better do it or I’m gonna repost the pictures of Scotty's LEGG. Ya know, those bandages would have made great coffee filters....
Ok, I couldn’t take it anymore. I even remembered to get the toilet paper out of the old break room. I didn’t worry about the paper towels since none of you heathen wash your hands (don’t know why I bothered with the toilet paper either). The coffee is hot and has that expensive gerbil poop stuff in it and the crazy lady with the shopping cart is fixing us up with some donuts.
Word to the wise> Do not eat a one pound package of black licorice in one sitting or four hours later, sitting is all you will be doing. I am glad I like the color green.
Back for a couple months...thought I would drop in for a bit....Was a LONG work season this year So I treated myself to a couple new luxuries...I now have hughes net satellite internet...and a new Samsung LED LCD 40" TV an Blu-ray player...luv being able to use the TV for monitor...nice being able to sit back and read....Happy 1-1-11

Winter has returned. Coffee is hot, dragon is stoked, Kailey is walked, pheasant is fed, donuts are still MIA. They must feel they were promoted along with the janitor and can now hide out any time they like...
Morning all. Nice to see you back Paul.
Today is Sunday, January 2nd.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Why are there pictures of the sun wearing sunglasses when the purpose of sunglasses is to protect your eyes from the sun?
Coffee's on. Ph00 t00.

Good morning to DTR, the cheerful, the grumpy, the ones waking up with headaches, the ........... well, you know what category you fit into. If you are reading this, that means that at least you are on the right side of the grass. Have another cup of the special DTR coffee. If it does not fix whatever ails you, then it will kill you. More fodder for the dragon.
Absolutely beautiful dawn here this morning. We had our first rain for months last night and the few remaining clouds were lit up by the rising sun in a brilliant orange for too short a while. OK, I know I am bragging, but yesterday was as nice a day weather wise as anybody could imagine. More expected. Wish I could share this those of you who are suffering with the ccccccooold and that horrible white stuff. Yesterday made me appreciate even more what I escaped from up north.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life, so what are you going to do with it?

Mornin, all.
Bark, thanks for opening the breakroom. I was gonna do it, but did not feel creative enough to come up with a catchy name.
Paul, welcome back. Glad you have some goodies.
Mornin, Scotty.
Stan, I know what you're talking about with the clouds. We rarely have them here, but when there is a sun rise with clouds, it is nice.
It's the middle child's 9th birthday today, we starting to build one of his model rockets. I need a Valium.

Just had our first trooper STRUCK for the year. At a scene of a crash already, another happened behind him, then heard his car get struck while radio was keyed up. Finally answered the radio, ok wanting to get checked for some whiplash. Then keyed up to report he was struck AGAIN, no further injury though.

Morning DTR
Mark, Happy Birthday to your son!
Had a few warmer days here thursday and friday. It rained and got in to the 50's so all the snow and ice melted off the house. Spent some time yesterday afternoon taking all the Christmas light off the house and putting them away. Wife got all the inside decorations and lights put away along with the tree.
Relaxin' today

The project worked great and he won first prize, but then wanted to continue to make more hydrogen. Oops. I allowed it, but made him promise to only make very small batches for his "bombs".Next science project for the next kid was to build a brushless DC motor. Much safer. Also received first prize.
Sucks to be you, buddy. I'm sorry.
Mornin, Bill.
That sucks. I guarantee that if we started whipping people in a city square, crime and stupidity would go down...
Mornin, Buddy. Thanks!
Unnggghh....
Sweet!! I remember, we made and electromagnet for one of my science fair projects and put a speedometer on it... I won first place. Good thing I had a frikin rocket scientist helping me and my dad. This dude was no crap a rocket scientist...

That reminds me of many years ago when one of my kids needed a science project for school. I suggested that he make hydrogen. I had a workshop in the basement and worked with him there to make the generator. My wife got mad at me once she realized what was going on. Gee, but wives can be so unreasonable at times!

Greetings from up here eh. Watched a very peaceful heavy snowfall this morning. One of those with the big flakes falling with no wind. That is what I like about winter.
Now I get to shovel...I like that too as its great cardio with a big shovel.
Mark, have fun with your 9 yr old. I register my daughter for school tomorrow.
Momma had tears this morning about that.
Hope you all have a great day/week/month/year. Several plans or irons in the fire for me right now. All good.
Take Care.
