I was a little worried when I read that Bristol was going to get redone, but they really got it right. No more running single file and waiting for the guy in front to screw up, or just shoving him up out of your way. Bristol was one of the most exciting tracks before, and it's even better now that they can race two grooves.

 

I watched a bit of four wide action :O un real what they did to that track, progressive banking, 13 inches of concrete, goodyear got a lil more work to do on a a tire, sheesh, who would ever have believed a 100 lap green flag at bristol ?

 

Yea, Bristol is one of the best IMHO. Now, try racing that on PS2 That could get VERY exciting when you and your buddy draft each other to the front, wiping out the competition, then wiping out each other

I like that they repaved the track and all but...it was a little boring last night. I like the beat'n-n-bang'n of the old Bristol. Having more than one line was good tho.

 

The power went off during a storm at my house, so I had to sit in my truck for 3 hours and listen to it on sirius. It sounded like a really good race, when they were not flapping their yaps and playing hundreds of commercials.

I think it will replay on monday nite.
