New Bike- KTM

I just bought a brand new KTM 525SX. It is awesome. Does anyone have a KTM on the board?
I replaced the 1.8 gal stock tank with a clear 3 gallon, and am waiting for all the skid guards and goodies.
I can't wait for all the snow to melt so I can get out and RIDE!

I had a KTM AdventureR LC4 640. You know the paris dakar bike! It was pretty nice. I should have kept that thing. See pics of it on my yahoo page. http://photos.yahoo.com/vamangano Good luck with yours *(and get some plates on it)*

Mike,

I had no idea you were a motocrosser! Unfortunately I just sold my CR125's earlier this year, but that was kind of a planned thing to get me into a new thumper next year. I've always liked KTM's when I've riden them, just never bought one.

Hey, totally off topic, but the other half is looking for places to do her clinical rotations and Montana came up as one of the options. They only last for ten weeks, but after that it could turn into a job offer for her. I've already given her the nod that I will sell the business and follow wherever she wants to go. Where is the hot spot to buy land there right now?

That's a great bike. I can't plate mine-it's not street legal.

A guy at work bought the 450 last year. He loves it. We're just up the road from you 9 miles. From the looks of things you may be waiting a while for the snow to melt though.

Really? I know where you are talking about. When it warms up, we'll have to get a few of us together. I was thinking of maybe setting up a meet at Mike's off-road. Their dyno won't work for us, but maybe I can talk Dyno-Jet into letting us use one for a day.

My next bike will be a KTM 950 Adventure. I have my XR650 for dual sport and dirt rides. And when this one comes out I am getting one.
