Never a dull day at work

Work for me is never dull, there is always something going on at a railraod. Especailly if you are a locomotive mechanic. Today we had a **** Southern chooch in the service pit that came from the west. It had the arm of a black bear stuck behind the snow plow. Talk about a different find when you are inspecting the locomotive. It was perfect mine a little bit of bone and tissue hanging off it. One of my co-workers took it with him to get it taxidermed.

Can you do that? Will he need a permit or something? We shot a big rattlesanke in our driveway once, and when we showed it to someone, we learned it was a protected kind. I guess that protection wasn't enough to keep this one alive, and I wasn't about to check to see what kind it was before it crawled away. But we could have easily showed it to the wrong person and got into a heap o trouble. A neighbor down the road ended up eating it.

Maybe just one arm is not enough to get you thrown into the brink.

Of course he can do that. He has a right to bear arms.

He could sue you for calling him lame but I don't think he has a leg to stand on.

Nice lame lines guys, I wish i could have a camera with me at the time, I think they kinda frown on camera on RR property now. I see people taking pictures of trains sometimes get told to leave. I think the guy that kept the arm showed one of the bosses. If one of my bosses has a picture i'll try to get it but I might have to wait after my coworker gets it back from being taxidermed.

And then you'll have the evidence in the palm of your hand.

I think you're on the right track with that train of thought. (I had to really engineer this response)

Bear in mind the fear the poor bear had, prior to the locomotive going through the bear's mind.

No I didn't have too, but did it anyway....
