NEED TO VENT! ticketed again
sooo...before i start, im NOT lookin for sympathy, just venting and ya i know i probably shouldnt have been involved. anyhow...here it goes. today i get a call from a few guys stating theres a dude stuck about 800 ft. out in the local mud pit. born in raised in the sticks, ive always pulled ppl out and as this spot is very popular, have been makin a little cash as well. knowing from experience that my CTD sinks very quickly ( i dunno how i know that 
) i go and get a winch, ****** block, and chain. get back and whaddya know...3 trucks stuck now. so i put the winch in my buddys receiver and park my ride on the shoulder of the 2 lane country road. now were along I-80 and traffic is almost stopped lookin at us all. kinda funny now. as i winch the first truck out, the highway cops show up and start walking up and down the road writing down plate numbers and tell us all to stop. 3 or 4 trucks still playin in the mud hi-tail it outta there. the highway police refuse to talk to us and get in the cruisers. i figure since im already ticketed ( for PARKING on the shoulder i come to find out ) im gonna finish gettin the guys outta there. the local pd shows up ( out of their jurisdiction ) and say for everyone to get out, we all are getting tickets. so me and my partner get tickets cause were all muddy from pullin trucks out. then we say fine, let us winch the trucks out and make the $$$ to pay for our tickets, they tell us NO, get outta here. fine, whatever. well later tonite we hear the original 3 guys ( older gentlemen ) are still stuck so we go back down there to reason with the cops and just let us get em all out. get down there and the guys are out. WITH NO TICKETS AND THEY WERE PULLED OUT BY A LOCAL COP IN HIS PRIVATE VEHICLE! and ontop of that, 4 other guys in there 40's out there didnt get any tickets from the locals just warnings and they had us all lined uptogether! SO IRRITATED right now...everyone vouched for us and said we ALWAYS pull guys out and never just play around and we get the short end. 
thank you. BTW no signs of any sort such as no parking or tresspassing. its county/city land, weve been out there for years and cops always stop and laugh at us and make sure were not drinking. its never been a problem.

Just a typical day for a cop in the Peoples Republic of California. 
I used to live there but I much prefer to be able to breathe and park my car in the street on Tuesday. My truck is in the driveway where I'm sanding it down for paint and nobody says a thing. In CA I'd get a ticket from the AQMD for pollution. A ticket from the city for having a disabled vehicle in my driveway and probably a code violation as well for just trying to live life unfettered by Mrs. Grundy.

Your Profile says your a paramedic/ CHP Cadet. So why were they giving you a problem. Did you tell them your occupation fields? Sounds like the cop was a jerk off. I'd fight it.

the worst part is the stuck guys werent even friends, i was just helpin out. and being still a chp cadet...i refuse to thrown down any affiliation whatsoever...gauranteed big trouble. they preach AGAINST thrownin out that your a cop so i never say anything...until ive finished an academy and have my badge in my pocket...im not a cop.
