TRAD-the tool shed is a huge building now, I do not know how big it used to be, cause I only found it 3 weeks ago. I have ben here since May, but just found the greatest palce in Alabama. I have to stay out of there though, cause I will go broke..

She has no sister sorry, and the GAIA (Grandmothers of Alabama Inspection Agency) sinspection went good. Although, I had already met her. Went to a flea market Yesterday afternoon to walk off lunch, and she stopped at this display with rings, I was thinking yeah right, I ain't stopping here, I keep walking, and I hear a faint "Wayne", I look back, and she is waaaaayyyyyy back there, she was like where did you go, I was like Oh, sorry, seen something I wanted to look at down here.

Guys, i feel pressure being applied, but not outspokenly, and I am not comfortable...I want a goerends transmission before a Ball and Chain. Does it sound like my priorities are right, or am I wrong??? Just got the SMARTY put on the other day, and I know to be sure I have no unexpected failure down the road, I need to get a transmission for safety, and installed it will be around $5000, or prolly $3500 if I do it, which I don't mind...

Seriously, just tell her that. Me and my GF talk about that stuff. I already told her there are things I want to do before we get married. If she loves you that will make her happy. Just knowing you want to marry her will keep her quiet for a while. Think about this... You could be engaged for years if you want.

 

Happy, they are constructing a second building behind the first which is supposed to be tools only in the rear building, too(l) cool. As far as too much pressure to soon, that's a personal feeling. As I recall in the beginning of this thread you said you had been dating only a couple of months so I wouldn't expect you to be looking at rings with any more interest than to learn her tastes in jewelry and to share yours. Listen carefully to what she says and share what you like as well.

just the thought of a conversation about that coming up now, when I believe in a year minimum with someone before talking like that...

 

Don't sweat it. Did you ever think she kinda was testing you? Maybe she wanted to see your response. Hey, take it slow. My best advise is to let her know where your at and always be honest and upfront. I did through out dating my wife (then GF) and never had a issue.

Besides, if your always honest and upfront, they can never give you the guilt trip!!!!

 

Ya know, I used to think that too. Then at 25, I joined the Marines and had the intention of "enjoying" the single life. I met April, and after the first week, proposed, and one week later..........MARRIED!!!! Two years later as of yesterday, I still don't think I know what hit me, but it sure didn't hurt! Plus, she wants to BOMB as much as I do.

Well, I found her on Cupid.com while I was in Okinawa. Go figure, I have to go halfway around the world to find the perfect girl that lived 1 1/2 hours away the whole time

 

Happy, If you are not comfy with her looking at rings tell her your not comfy.no biggy, really. She'll understand ,I'm sure of it.
