Need help finding a Hitch I heard about from Truck U

I checked their site and cannot find it. It was an ajustable tow/drop hitch, but it also had a pin you could pull and move the ball left and right if you are off a little bit and then when you pull ahead it locks it back straight. Priceless no more mssing around trying to hook the boat at 0 dark 30. Just get close and bam your done and on your way to the river. I have looked everywhere and cant find it. TIA Rye.

I know what you're talking about. I've seen them before, but I can't remember the brand name either.

Hmm I thought it had a 10K rating, only has 6K. My boat and trailer fully loaded may be a little close, and my utility trailer will be out of the question with any real load on it. May have to e-mail inventive and see if they have any plans for a stronger one. Its one heck of an idea. Thanks guys.

It took me a few searches before I hit on swivel too...

I wouldn't hope for much more, lots of pins and movables to wear and become loose on that.

Have you considered something more like a guide instead?

I have a back up camera. But with my drop hitch all u see is the top you can't see past to the ball. It's not a big deal the only trailer that gives me trouble is the boat. You have to be dead on or it's not happening and your not moving it at all. It's funny cause my other two trailers are easy. Anyway I can't justify 200 for something that is that close in load rating and I can't use it on my utility trailers, so I will just wait and see if they ever build a bigger one.

Glue a "blind spot" mirror to the trailer so you can see the ball with your existing camera.

My bosses boat had a mirror on a post that was attached to the trailer, seemed to work pretty good.

You know. if they would JUST put flat mirrors on both sides of our trucks, it'd make this alot easier.
