Somehow, I never expected this thread to go the way of the "brokeback cowboy" Just never know what's going to happen around this place...

BTW...still haven't found out, but I didn't get a chance to call the station either.

OK, I heard this song on the radio Saturday and I haven't been able to find it. It was on 106.1 out of Brenham and Bryan/College Station. It's about a guy driving a Ford and it breaks down on him, and he gets picked up by a girl in a Chevy. Here's part of the chorus.

F-O-R-D that's what I said
F-O-R-D Found On Road Dead
It'll pick you up and take you places you've never been
Like the parts store, the junkyard, and the hospital in the end

So if you're ever in one, you'd better be aware
That that F-O-R-D will break down and make you swear

I've searched high and low on the 'net, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Anyone else ever heard it or know anything about it?
Hey, i got-er done! just called 106 and they told me it was called f-o-r-d, by james lann

Yup. That's why I have the 2 12" subs in the back. That and to tick off the ricers by blasting country music through them.

It's much more satisfying to fill their cockpit with black smoke.

Thanks Derek. I checked out some of his other music and pulled it all into iTunes. Pretty good stuff, had to add it to my collection.
