Myrtle beach?

Thinking about taking the family down there for a little vacation. Anybody know any reasonable places to stay for 4 days?

4 adults two small children under 4 years old. Looking for something beachfront....

www.priceline.com

Always heard about this site, but never had any personal experience with it till a few months ago.

Mom booked using this service and came away very impressed with the experience...got a "three star" double-bed room for around $59/night in a major metropolitan area.

I'm not sure which week you're looking to go down there, but you might want to avoid these two weeks in May Bike Week (Harleys) and the following week is for Sport Bikes(Crotch Rockets).

For you and any other active or retired military if your not using the www.afvclub.com travel site your missing out on the best benefit you have. resorts and hotels anywhere in the world you can dream of and all of them priced at $285 per week. You get averything included that all the other guest get. We use this all time time. Have gotten cabins that normally go for as much as $600 per night for the whole week for under $300. Nothing hidden and free to sign up. It's great. The selection changes everyday so if you don't see what your looking for today check again in the morning.

I live about 4 hours from MB and have been there several times, IMO I would much rather go to Oak Island especially with my familly. MB is ok , but its geared more toward the high school crowd its faster to walk because you sit in traffic where ever you go. Oak Island is a lot more peacful beach, I go every year.

Myrtle Beach is great for the family, especially Boardwalk at the Beach. When we go, we pull the 5er and stay at Pirateland a little further south than Myrtle. If you want a little out of the crowd, stay in Surfside or south on the Grandstrand. Have fun and be sure to think about all of stuck up here in the normal hustle and bustle.

Now Lary - - why would you come to Florida and not come to the gentle side of the state. You should come to Sarasota and stay out on Siesta Key. The big rush is over and the snow bunnies have gone home, world rated beaches, good fishing, the little kids will really love the gentle slosh of the little surf instead of the big wave, great restaurants, prettier scenery, lots to see around the area. No comparison.

Bob
