If you want purple, get purple. Lady Jaine is Dark Garnet Red, the family color of choice. We didn't plan it, it just worked out like that. Drive what makes you happy.

Jean

A chromed out purple truck would look wicked. Get the color you like. I got the dark midnight blue. Looks good when it is clean and freshly waxed. I will say this though, dark colors are hard to keep clean and they show the slightest imperfection. They do look the best though when they are clean.

On one of his trips up there CH is supposed to stop by and say Hi, its not to far out of the way, or I could meet him somewhere.

Miss CH,
One of the managers here at Big Blue used to drive a purple Cheby pickup. It was a SB 1/2 ton gasser but he had some nice Alcoa-looking rims on it and kept it clean. It was unusual at first but it grows on you. This guy was in his early fifties and hailed from the South West so he was kinda different compared to the transplanted Yankees we Southern boys are used to making fun of around here ;D

Of course, I had to park my beat up brown 78 W200 next to his whenever possible so maybe some of the dirt would migrate. Its a sin to have a truck without some slung up dirt on it.

If we get another CTD for my wife it may have to be purple.
One option that may be cheaper than having an entir truck repainted id to opt for a black, white, or silver truck and some nice purple graphics added. I have seen a black Chevy with all of the original badging removed and replaced with purple graphics and air brushing and it looks reaally good. Just an option.
That does sound like an idea! I have a dealer looking for a white one.
