I would love to here some stories on the cummins. As of what you hauled or trailered or how many times you pulled your buddies ford out of a ditch. I'm new to the cummins world and cant wait to have a story to tell.....
Friend of mine called me 3:00am Sunday morning, and told me he hit a deer. I picked up my 54' Gooseneck, and picked him, his trailer, the Ford he was towing, and pulled him back to his place.
I drove from 5:30am, till 12am that same day. Truck didn't miss a beat, and pulled really well.
I never did get the picture they took of me towing that load. Was kinda funny to just drive his truck and loaded trailer on to my trailer. LOL Yah, it was a bit heavy.

Back in about 1995 when I had my bone stock 94 CTD 3500 chassis cab and a 48' 3 car trailer, I had to haul vans for a company from a main center to one of their regional offices. They were dodge vans that had been converted to natural gas.
I loaded 3 of the vans and took off to deliver them. Felt a little heavy..no big deal. I get on the interstate and I really start feeling the weight. It was bad and it struggled awhile to get up to speed. I mean miles. Just for kicks I pulled into the scales and went inside. The guy at the counter was like "Is that your white dodge out there?" with a smile on his face." He handed me the ticket and I looked and it said 31,600#
. Needless to say the next trip I only loaded 2 vans
I later looked underneth and there were multiple huge cylinders under the vans that held the NG.

A few weeks ago my cummins pulled out my neighbors 25k lb dry(but he had quite a bit of water in it) freightliner motorhome. He got it stuck in his yard. Throwed it in 4 low, and pulled it right out.
Today i had to pull start a buddy's older F-350 with a 351 cause his battery was dead.
My dad has pulled out a stuck rig/trailer with his
And we also pulled out a tractor, and truck at the same time with his.
Cant think of more right now

last winter i pulled a loaded tractor/trailer out of the circle drive at the place i worked, it was a sysco food truck, we were the first delivery of tha day, he hadnt got in yet, so was loaded, i have a 4 ply 5" wide strap, took a few jerks, but when the front tires hit pavement it was easy pullin.
Near the end of last summer my son called me and asked if I could come get him and his friend (they were on their way back from a ricer race in Sacramento) cause his friends 2002 F350 Duelly Diesel died on the way home. When I finally arrived where they were at I was kinda shocked to see the trailer he was towing - 35 foot enclosed trailer that had his ricer racer, his brothers car and all the tools and extra tires loaded inside. After I pushed his dead Ford out of the way I let them hook up the trailer. They went over to the pickup and grabbed 2 more tool boxes, floor jack and a bumper tow setup he bought from someone at the track. Great.. Am I overloaded or what? LOL
I asked him how much was the total weight of the trailer and everything inside and he told me that the scales showed it a hair over 15k (I only have a Class 3 hitch!
) and I figured if I took it easy that I should be ok. Once I got back on the freeway just north of Fairfield and was heading south, the winds started picking up - that area is known for it's high winds (30 to 45 mph) and I thought great, just what I need, headwinds on top of all this. Surprisingly we made the 55 mile trip without any problems until we got to my son's friends house where I blew one of his trailer tires when I was trying to back it along the curb in front of his house.. LOL

Me and my brother are young and stupid, and we both own CTD, and all of are buddies own ford and chevy diesels, 3 fords and 1 chevy, and every once in a while are buddies start thinking todays going to be there day and they decide to hook up to one of us, so we hook a tow strap bumper to bumper to one of the fords or chevys on pavement, so far we havent been pulled an inch. Other than that we both have never pulled over 2k lbs with our trucks.
my freinds chevy lunched an engine 25 miles from home and called me to tow it to his house .i hooked on and pulled him home up in the mountains when we got out he was smiling and said that i was pulling him up that last grade faster then his truck would go on its own
