Your brother has been a brave fighter -- likewise you. You have maintained a positive attitude in your obvious care over him. I was never privileged to have a brother, much less one like you. Praying for both of you and the family.

As is his style, he wanted me to bring the present to his workplace, but during lunch break, so he would not miss time from work. Not in the evening, there are household chores, and after those he would be tired and want to go to bed..

Today i was called by the caretakers, Werner has high fever and has a host of other problems.. kidneys etc..

I hope that i can convince hin to stay in the hospital.
Just back from the operation- he could not go under completely, (because of other medication), had to hold him and keep him from interfering.
They had to change his catheter to a model that goes around the natural way of that fluid, and exits in the front of his tummy.
I hope that this will clear up some of the problems, and get him into a stable state so that the other problems can be solved.
Well, I think that Werner's 52nd birthday is a good enough reason to get this back to page one.
After a year of continuous ups and downs he managed to reach age 52- celebrations were in order and..
There was a box- gift wrapped nonetheless..
