Yesterday was "interesting"..
Got the results from the MRT, looks like there is a kind of (benign) tumor in his brain, and that the medication he had was the culprit for the lack of ADH.
Right now he still fades in and out, but it looks like the "in" phases get longer. He has very vivid illusions he remembers as facts.
Yesterday he described in great detail and with conviction- his wedding to a girl he knew 20 years ago.. on thursday while he was in intensive care.
This makes it rather difficult to find out what's going on and what he needs.
Let's see what comes up next.

Well, Werner does feel better, I visited him at work today.
On the return drive I had a crash, somebody hit me from behind.
Where my car came to rest
Opponent's car being loaded on the truck where it stopped.

Well, some little updates...
I was a bit optimistic about "just being banged up" - still there are no broken bones.
But I was not really "there" after the accident, and a police officer filled in the accident form and had me sign it. I did not really read/understand it at this time, and it is of less than satisfactory quality.
(Like no mention of which vehicle part of veh. A collided with which part of veh. B, the other driver being born on 2010- has a good beard growing for a 6 year old)
Went to the hospital in the evening because my wife and a friend insisted.
(They say I talked a bit strange... more so than the rest of the year)
After the x-rays the Drs had me wear some kind of collar, until the CT cleared - something about vertebrae not being in the correct position and fear of breaks... But the end result is just a distended neck, a lot of bruises on the back coming out just now, headache etc.
Now I think I've got to lawyer up and also to find another car and so on and so on.
But on a positive note: Werner is well, and the new reduction in his medication makes him feel better and he is a lot more energetic.

I paid him a visit today, and to me he does not seem "right".
He stumbles over words while speaking, could not say the word for coffee. When that happens he gets extremely angry with himself.

Well it was an eventful weekend.
Werner has yet another change of medication, and he seems to like it better. At least he does speak more clearly than for the last few months, and does not get stuck any more.
After a lot of discussions about what to get as a replacement for my Skoda- everything else is much more expensive, Harry suggested to me to get what I want and not necessarily be too reasonable.
So I bought a 10 year old Volvo V70 AWD Diesel with a 6 Speed manual tranny.
Fun to drive, 185hp, over 300 foot pounds of torque!
But I went from 40-45mpg to somewhere around 32 mpg..

Wow Werner, what do you have there? A trophy for hanging in there so tough and smiling. Good man. Cheers from the DTR gang. Prayers are still going up from our home for you and Happy Birthday.
