My basement project.

Well not really a project. But here are some close to finished pictures. Basement ended up being just over 1900 sq foot finished. This is just one side. The other side is the same just filled with more toys. Now I just need to furnish it and finish up some odds and ends. It is the Owens Corning basment system. Great product!

That's awesome. You could have an indoor archery range with that much space. Wish I had that much room in the house for my stuff. I'm allowed the garage and the shed currently. Need to get my bobcat under the house and start mining!

Yeah I've got the gun cabinet installed in the "safe room". 10x10' cinderblock room with the cabinet bolted into the floor. Bolts are rounded off I had them sitting out b/c I just cleaned them. Thanks for the thoughts though!!! You can never be TOO SAFE!!

Yes, please do tell.
I have been pondering finishing off about half of my lower level. I've got a 1786 sq. ft. footprint.
You've got a nice little set up there!

They contract someone to put it in. It takes them a couple of weeks. It isn't cheap. I paid about $50,000 to have them do it but I rather work a little overtime and do what I know how to do at work and let them do the job they know how to do They put in the framework for the sections after they put the drop ceiling in. Everything just pops out.

You're the Man! I guess I'm going to be on the Econo project path.

I'm just looking for a Man den, somewhere to go in the summer months to get away from everyone, uh, er, I mean the HEAT!

You could do as big or as small as you want. They used steel framing to put up a center wall. The best thing about the product is you still have access to everything you had before. IF you basement gets wet (mine never has) all you have to do is pop out the panels and let them dry. They are mildew resistant. The ceiling is a drop ceiling with really nice tiles and recessed lighting. I talked them down quite a bit. Then when they realized I'd pay cash they really wanted to do it. They said this was the biggest one they have ever done. If your down my way give me a shout and I'll give you the grand tour. Believe it or not but my wife wants to sell this place. I've FINALLY got it the way I want it and she wants to sell. 3600 sq ft new roof, new hvac, everything in the house redone. 2 car garage with shop, pond, two barns and over 10 acres. Make me sick to my stomach to think about selling this place.

Your basement looks great. It looks like a good place for a home theater.

Archery range nothing, rifle range. Just get some really small targets.
