My brother and I have been bored lately, so we decide to take one of our old Junk riding mowers, and have a little fun. This one had some crankcase bolts that came loose and it lost all it's oil, so we tore it down to investigate and found very little damage. Got it back together and pulled transaxle out and welded spider gears. Then we took the rear wheels and cut the outer rim portion off and drilled the center to 4x110mm and mounted some spare wheels off one of the rhinos on the rear. Looks like a real tractor now, also removed the govenor assy and are looking for a larger crank pulley and/or a smaller transaxle pulley. It's fun, and hopefully we can pick up some more speed with it and make it real fun. This is what happens when poor rednecks in texas get bored. We'll post pics soon.

 

You just need a nitrous shot in there now and your mowing will be done in record time!!!!

hey dont feel bad ive been working on 18hp horizontal v mower and right now only the motor is still on the frame. KLX i was think a 25-50 shot would be just fun.

Glad they have an audio replacement pending on that video. Somehow that background music just didn't seem to mesh with a guy speeding around a yard on a modified riding mower.

41mph...not bad. Through the deck back underneath it and you could lay some grass down in a hurry.

 

If you are going to ride a tractor that fast you better wear a helmet, those things will roll in a heart beat. Maybe an ejection seat would be in order lol
