So the Army has decided to transfer me from Fort Benning back to good old Texas on short notice. I lived in Texas my whole childhood, but never in this area and know little about it. Unfortunately, everybody I talk to that has been stationed in this area hasn't been there in the last 8+ years.

If it was just me, I'd jump in head first and not really care as long as I had a roof over my head. But it's not just me, and the wife deserves to live in a nicer neighborhood for having to put up with me the last few years.

Is there anybody that can help me with good/bad neighborhoods in the Killeen/Copperas Cove area?
