Well, got my orders. I'll be heading back to Norfolk for my next duty station. I was there for a while and didnt care for it. Hopefully the next three years wont be totally bad. Any members in that area? Leaving TX sometime in OCT. ARRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

I am currently stationed at NAB Little Creek. I live in Chesapeake, and wouldn't live anywhere else. I am transferring out in Oct. to greece though. It will be a 1 year unaccompanied tour. Where you going to be stationed at??

I am a little far for you to go, but I am up at Dover AFB. I have got a brother in law down at Norfolk, but he lives in Virginia Beach. I will have to find out where he is stationed at, all I know is that he is in fabrication for aircraft.

The PCS thing is just getting old.

I was supposed to have my final outs this week, but had to apply for an extension to get some medical stuff ironed out.

Looking at 31 Dec for a DOS right now.

 

I really wanted to get out, but the wife is also enlisted, and wants to do her 20 (8 more to go) so I figure rather than risk not being able to find a decent job, I should go with something thats a guaranteed paycheck. Not thrilled, but gotta do whats best for the family.

 

Well, the AF is asking for volunteers and giving golden parachutes to separate-- so the timing works out well..
