Modern Warfare 2

Anyone have Modern Warfare 2 yet? I'm firing up my copy for the first time on the 360 here in a few minutes. I can't wait, stupid XBL and it's updates, I haven't been on live in a while so I have all the new updates to DL and it's taking forever. I've been waiting quite impatiently for about 8 months now for this game and I hope it's everything I anticipated and more. I'll update as soon as I can pry myself away. LOL.

It was worth the wait, awesome game. The multiplayer anyway, haven't gotten into campaign mode yet. It really takes everything that was good about COD 4 to another level. Highly recommended for any fans of FPS games out there.

The lack of dedicated servers is what turned me off to MW2. I hate dealing with all the hacks and asshats that feel the need to cheat to increase their feelings of self-worth.

Yeah I started playing the campaign mode, and wow some of the levels get pretty intense. Multiplayer is where it really shines though.

multiplayer is awesome, love the new points system, it is much more in depth!!!!! and you can carry a shotgun as a secondary weapon without overkill!!!! I think it is going to have its ups and downs from cod4 but all in all it has been fun and easy to transistion from world at war and cod4

Still occasionally playing original COD2 on line (PC) but there are far less servers (and more hacks) than there used to be. Should I skip ahead to Modern Warfare 2 or would it benefit me to get the earlier version first. Love multiplayer games but hadnt had the time the last couple of years.
