just got diesel power and see an article on rons 1st gen. no time to read it but looks like another good magazine.

The 6.7 dyno'd at 982. That was with 8 deg. less timing than 5.9's best run. I wanted it to have a bit better bottom end power and tow a bit cooler so it's timed at 22 deg right now.

are you still looking to put the engine in something else ? if so what? id suggest a red 78 ford crewcab

i dont think i could part with it-my wife and kids wouldnt let me ! however without the cummins it would only be good to look at. i tow alot with it and the old gasssers i built for it were so hard on fuel and gutless compered to the cummins it was impracticle to drive.
