I thought Marshall Tucker was more southern rock, which according to this guy
says isn't about the sound but the attitude. These guys are rockers:
These guys are blues artists:
Then you got these guys:
This guy. Fair comedic actor too, if'n you ask me.
What better song for starting a road trip?
Then there's some bad company, too:
Almost forgot some BTO:

I never did like the beatles.

How'd I miss this one?
Then there's the quintessential "I'm tired of this ******* road I'm gonna go do something less stressful- like farm" song:
I know, it's a Bob Seger song, but I think their cover really hits on the anger and frustration of not having much of a life being away from home all the time.

This one is old too, but I really like like that soundhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e80qhyovOnA

Some of the best covers of other peoples songs must be made by Johnny Cash,

And to get up to speed ...

Now we´re about ready to go for a ride... ever been down Telegraph road?

Gordon Lightfoot... never heard of him, but I really liked that song, much better than this newer version

In Denmark at the end of the 80´s these guys unleashed their "cowpunk", They started out as "Disneyland after dark", untill someone told them that might not be the greatest name ever, so it was shortened to D.A.D.

Unfortunately they kinda grew up in the 90´s, it´s not fun anymore, but I really like the sound on the first couple of records.

Counting the cattle.....LOL...That was so good..

I guess it's good that Gordon's song was remade..Keeps a 43 year old song alive..

Some Canadian music artist never made it big in the US...
I don't know if April Wine from Montreal was a hit in the USA..

Throw a little AC\DC in here.......Seen them in concert...Good show..

I just wish that I had seen him before he passed, but I wasn't lucky enough..

One of my favorite singers of all time.. as his voice and lyrics made you live the story in your mind..
