Making Fiberglass Bumper Cover
Hey there, Well since my accident my steel bumper is pretty dented up, and that plastic peice that I painted the paint is scratched off in places, and the plastic on top is fading, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Would it be terribly difficult to remake these two plastic peices with fibreglass, like just lay a sheet over top of them, then glass it, then take the mold off, then glass on the inside for a few layers, sand down, and paint, same with the other plastic peice? I was wondering if this would be very difficult, and how thick I should make the peices, or If I should just make a whole bumper cover that covers the entire bumper? Thanks for any advice guys.

Honestly that sounds like more work than just ordering new rubber. You could do it if you REALLY wanted to. One piece of advice is to apply several coats of wax to your " mold" and apply a release agent so when you are done your cured part will easily pop off of the mold.
