Magazine Subscription Cards

Everybody knows those little post cards that exist in throngs amongst every available periodical.

Now, I here have this subscription card that says "Subscribe Today- $32". And then you fill out your name, address, and email; but then there is a box to check "payment enclosed".

So how the heck am I supposed to enclose payment in a postcard? Do I staple the $32.00 cash to the postcard? Do I pay tax? Common sense dictates that I put the postcard in an envelope, along with the money, and then stamp the envelope; on the back of the postcard, however, it says that "Postage Will Be Paid by Addressee". So, if I put the postcard in the envelope, how will the post office know that the Addressee will pay the postage?

How am I supposed to buy a magazine subscription by enclosing payment in a postcard?

Buy your magazine subscriptions of of ebay. There is a "magazine subscription" section under the "books" category. Prices cannot be beat. I just got 3 years of Hot Rod for 10 bucks. Check it out, only takes a minute.

Magazine companies could send them to everyone for free, if it was legal, and still make plenty of money.

They have to charge something in order to keep their advertising status.

If you will call the toll-free number and talk to a representative, you can get the subscription for almost nothing.

Also, never re-subscribe with a renewal bill, as they are always higher than after you let it lapse and they send you a "please re-new" letter with a much better price.

I just received a magazine offer, today, that stated "lowest price possible" for a year subscription $22; the same magazine also sent a seperate flyer the same day that said "one year for the unheard price of SIX dollars.

Shop around.
