Mornin all.

Took yesterday off. Buddy came over, sat outside and drank a pot of coffee. Just relaxed and gabbed. His sister is sick in the cancer hospital. Needed to get things off his chest.

Hope the 4th was a good one for everyone. Need to get back at it today and get things done around here. Monday is back to work. Official work that I get paid to do. I get to rest up till I take another vacation. Week went by way too fast.

Got a little rain last night that cooled things off. Nice soaker. Only suppose to go up to 20* today instead of the 30 or 31 that it has been all week.

Good afternoon all, hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday. Went up to the big lake last night to watch the fireworks display. We had a great spot on the beach to watch them, right next to the people putting the show on. The gf got a few pictures of them. Gotta go find something for lunch.

 

Afternoon... Got back from the beach a little while ago... it was ok. Not the nice, clear water like Fl, but ok.

Bad rainstorms here. Got a little hail, it was an excuse for it, let me tell you what! Good thing, tho, with 2 new vehicles and my truck sitting out in the front yard.

Bout to try to take a little snooze... it's the good life...

think i got heat stroke & water poisoning

wife said it was 99 out there, i worked in about 5 hours

sweated so much, socks were wet.

drank so much water trying to stay hydrated, i could not work steady for going to the potty.

friends & family went out to eat. i am here, waiting to be sick.
miserable getting that hot.

and really didn't get much done, just the blocks down, frame down, insulation, and 2 piece of plywood.

it fought us everyone inch of the way.
we finally used tie down straps to pull the tongue & groove floor together.

Another hour to go. Just heard from the pilgrim. Sounds like she made it ok, and they got the border gaurds to earn their pay, but wasn't too bad this time. They're probably getting a visit from the sandman pretty soon.

 

Dang it, John... it was not that hot...

It's called hyponutremina... overhydration. I don't know if either of those words right... depleation of sodium. Gatorade will help a little...

Sucks to be you. Guess I should have come up instead of going to the beach, huh?

 

Good evening DTR.. Went shopping with wife today to buy a new car seat for the little one. Ended up buying three 1 for the truck, 1 for her car and one for the babysitter (grandma). Took the little one to the Newport Aquarium for the first time. He loved seeing all those fish!! Ready for a beer and goin to bed.

 

Evening. Just got back from supper with the parents. Did a little Warlmart'n.

About 0800 here, fixin to go out with some buddies now. See what the night has to offer us. We're gonna check out this new outfit out here in our little corner of the world. Wish me luck.

Working in hot weather I try to go three to one on water and sports drink.
If Im not sweating much, I shoot for five to one on water and sports drinks or sodas.

 

I tell you what. I work in the AZ heat every day. This summer is hot, 110+. I drink nothing but water and I still sweat my butt off. I drink about 6 or 7 20z bottles a day while I'm at work. Kicks my butt.

Finally home. Had a GREAT night. I'm off to bed now, too much fun
