Morning Mark. Glad you got there safe. Now it's time to start counting down.
Finally got the rear main to go in straight, bottom all put back together. Tomorrow I'll put the shifter back in the tower and set it on the ground. WooHoo!!!

Glad you made it safely to your destination Mark. Enjoy Yuma 2!

SATURDAY, JULY 7th:
1846 - U.S. annexation of California was proclaimed at Monterey after the surrender of a Mexican garrison.
1862 - The first railroad post office was tested on the Hannibal and St. Joseph Railroad in Missouri.
1898 - The United States annexed Hawaii.
1920 - A device known as the radio compass was used for the first time on a U.S. Navy airplane near Norfolk, VA.
1930 - Construction began on Boulder Dam, later Hoover Dam, on the Colorado River.
1937 - Japanese forces invaded China.
1950 - The U.N. Security Council authorized military aid for South Korea.
1969 - Canada's House of Commons gave final approval to a measure that made the French language equal to English throughout the national government.
1981 - U.S. President Reagan announced he was nominating Arizona Judge Sandra Day O'Connor to become the first female justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.
1983 - Eleven-year-old Samantha Smith of Manchester, Maine, left for a visit to the Soviet Union at the personal invitation of Soviet leader Yuri V. Andropov.
2011 - The world's first artificial organ transplant was achieved. It was an artificial windpipe coated with stem cells. It will be interesting to see if this idea works out or gets choked.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting one in a fruit salad.
Coffee.

Morning, got some cawfee, pretty nasty stuff Scott, I love it.
Gonna empty and rearrange my storage compartment on the 5ver today, then mow the lawn. Back in the saddle tomorrow for another 24 hours of excitement then off on vacation to Hampton beach New Hampshire for 2 weeks.
Scott if your going to be in the area drop dime, heck we'll only be a half our from Merrimac. I would like to catch up with you and Mike.
Rick, glad to see you got the unit back in the truck and its almost done. I am sure you will be very happy to have your ride back. Wish I could have helped you out.
We all need to move to a centralized location so we can help out each other. I hear that Cincy has plenty of space for all our stuff, says he can fir the entire internet in his barn.

That is the 64 thousand dollar question. I'm feeling better about that question though because when I put the slave cylinder back up I had to force it back in. When I disassembled the truck it came out with no force pushing on it.
I really wanted to do a how to on the clutch but working after dark doesn't make for good pics. I will do one on the rear main though. I finally got all the info from the FSM out of my head and worked the problem. Now I can install one of those seals straight and in about 10 minutes. Yay me!

We'll be out here until the end of September. You have fun up there tho, and remember; directions to anywhere from Hampton Beach are 'over the bridge, second set of lights take a right'!

As far as Eric's place goes we'll probably never know because he never waves when you call him.

Mad, glad you got there safe.
Trad, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Did flying monkeys get Scotty?
HTM, a 2wk vacation sounds good. What do you get to do up there? Any fishing?

Wow, been so long since I have been in a break room thread here, I forgot how big they can get, lol.
Well, the 4th went well for me, nothing crazy happened, no big fires to put out.
Only some really annoying throat irritation, that makes it really painful to swallow food.

They get as big as....
- Chaikwa's beard
- Scotty's leggs
- Mad's beer fridge
- JWBM's ORD supply
- Bark's shrew hoard
- Cincy's crates
- Twich's towing capabilities
- Bob's Depends
......
