madhat's 'Promote your career' breakroom, 26 June-2 July
Well, that was a cheap ride. Only cost me $552 to get out of the DMV.
Wonder what I just bought with that money???
The new Road King was real good though. No comparison in ride quality to that Super Glide. The SG was very quick on the take off but didn't have any ride quality. The RK is a little slower on the take off but the ride is sweet and it is rock solid in the curves. Has some fairly quiet pipes that might have to be changed though.

Latest attempt at a solution...stepped up the voltage of that cooked transformer...it did get the voltage up to 208, then it dropped to 200 and the hum started. Then the electrical contractor decided its time to see if there is now enough voltage to fire up the 2nd AC unit on the roof. Burned it up...all wires melted and fried, unit is toast.
There is/are stories of a ghost here and we have seen our share of perplexing things that can happen within seconds here. I agree.
I told the higher ups I will no longer enter that power room. We have two electrical contractors that are now telling us two completely different stories as to what caused the problems and what is still creating havoc. Another 400 amp fuse blew even after they claim that the loose power lead was the problem the last two times. Why would we need to put fans in front of the other 75KVA transfomers if there is no apparent problem?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that a 70 amp breaker fried on another panel on Thursday.
I do not know what the gauge of wire is on the roof.

I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!
