Wink Hheheh family stays true....

just checked the time before I posted in yesterday's thread....

Get to bed madson! Do well on the dyno and have some fun!
we are going to tackle a tranny slippage problem on the big dodge 04 so I think that's a 48RE...86,000 hard miles ..I am figuring fluid change and new torque converter- reading about triple clutch and new VB but want to make minimal adjustments to fix the problem....all opinions welcome!

well fellas, sorry to admit to having a law enforcement history and all- blew the windows out of the car for the 50 year old and made the farmer's think the milk plant blew up with all the ruckus in this sleepy hamlet where good people still exist! (apple pies put in your 'fridge from a neighbor after shovelling out their drive) we did think he was dead, but after the terror went away, he laughed so hard he cried....then his daughter and son got his shirt off him (a balmy 47 here) and put reflective body paint (he's a collision repair guy) on him in college fashion. first truck down the road lights him up as some kind of neon 'deer in the headlight' looking thing. no alcohol was served, just good old boys having fun. we rigged a 'shot burst' which is an air cylinder of 8 ounces to 90 pounds pressure, when he sat on the seat, it triggered. we all gave him the benefit of doubt that he spilled water on the front of his trousers. baby to grandmas were there to bring him smart end joke gifts, great food and cards of jokes and love. truly a night to remember, great to see all my old farmer pals and neighbors.

auction during the day was s l o w but worth it as I spent a few bucks to make a lot more. also got what i was after- for seven bucks. love it.

sad to come home to a phone call that nasty letters were being deposited in the MAILBOXES (against the law) against my family members but why involve them in my bid for councilman. eight mispellings gave me an idea who might be behind it. and really? who would benefit from that smear stuff? duh, maybe the incumbant? I have extremely thick skin (head to match) but my family does not need to be slammed by someone driving a late model SUV or pickup with cap, stuffing mailboxes during the cover of darkness. Bless the folks of this 48 square mile town who actually called me very upset. I do a lot for folks but like to be anonymous, just having a good time. glad my character can't be changed by this sleaze stuff.
had the state police come do an incident report on a 255. or harassment complaint. anything further would automatically boost the charges to aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor. please, make a stupid call to my house you idiot...

funny thing is I am very calm, feel bad for my husband and son.

glad that nothing can take away the good feeling i have of friends and very decent folks!! it was a super day and just being THANKFUL for that opportunity- please take a moment to check YOUR status! hope it is all good DTR fellas, all good!!

Heidi,

Don't let it get you down... We all know what a great gal you are, as I am sure your constituents do as well

People always target the good ones in an effort to make themselves look better, I know it happens to us every time we end up having to ban some mental midget around here.

That guys stunt will just backfire on him and he will end up paying the price because of it Besides I plan on voting 48 times for you myself, thats not including absentee balloting

Excuse me, I happen to resent the use of the term "mental midget" I prefer "intellectually impaired individual". This is where the III in my name comes from. Not because I am the third.

Always look on the bright side of life. Monty Python at its best. That said, never let the little stuff get you down. Don't sweat the petty things, and for sure don't pet the sweaty things.

Having a reasonable day here, thinking that Mr. Top and Mr. Hat should get together on these threads, and perhaps we could have a peanut fest. (get it?)

Have a good one tomorrow folks, this has been the gospel according to Pind

Good morning gang.
Almost nearly kinda close to being caught up from the trip down south.
This deployment is gutting us. Don't feel good about it at all. Ain't felt this way in about 35 years.
Looks like the rail load out team will fit in a quad cab truck with plenty of room for the cooler.
23 man shop down to 3, including myself. One of those went before a medical reveiw board yesterday. Entire shop started at 140 and is down to less than 30. Things beginning to pull a high vacuum.
Wittling on a big pile of red oak. Friend brought 3 dump truck (~20 yard) loads by. Nice and clean. Already limbed. Some of the butt cuts are 40+ inches through since the 390 and 20" bar won't cut all the way through. Got 12 - 15 more loads coming in over the next month or so. Time to break out the horse liniment.
Coffee and breakfast is ready.

Hey, I taught you better than that. You don't paint a truck outside on a windy day - - it blows the bristles of your brush out and splatters all over the outhouse. And with Rustoleum? Man, ain't you never gonna learn nuthin?

Well, I see the breakroom is now limited to the Marines only. Where does a "normal" person go for conversation and a cup of foo foo?

Gorgeous morning here - - had my oatmeal and coffee on the porch, reading the funnies getting ready to head to church. Sure nice down here this time of the year. Gotta go fertilize and kill weeds tomorrow. Stuff is growing like crazee. Lawn could take a cut about every five days - - mercy.

See ya in church,

Bob

Ahhhhhh .... I see everyone is in fine form this morning !!!

Heidi ... you have got to be the most "active" gal I know !! Hang in there, remember "If they ain't writin' bad things about you on the crapper walls ... then you just ain't gettin' thru to em !!".

Bruce ... if you didn't live so durned far away, I'd come give y'all a hand. I think there is a limit to doing more with less ... looks like you guys are about to show the powers-that-be just where that limit lies

Chaikwa ... do the surrounding trees have the same color scheme as the truck now ? I hear Rustoleum will prevent "cedar rust" as well .

Neighbor has turned us on to some of the wood that he has stacked over on his property ... it didn't take much sweet talking to Mrs. Pistol to come help load it either .... she must be cold .

Gotta git after it ... y'all have a good Sunday.

Morning all, little grandson and daughter spent the night last night. I asked my daughter what she was feeding him because I can't remember how many chins he's supposed to have at nearly 7 weeks. I'm starting to think the Michelin man is going to be calling any day asking about his boy. My back is still reeling from last Wednesday's fright night at church, no more heavy duty activity for a while. When you start becoming numerically superior to the masses in the cycle of life the recovery process slows to a pace only Rip Van Winkle can appreciate. Time to dial it down a notch! Heidi, find a way to turn that smear into free publicity. Everybody has family, everybody has skeletons, don't sweat it.(As mentioned earlier, there's still the Marines,)
