yeah thats true, in these times it's a benefit to have the union represent you just for job security. I never use to like them till now, seems like that the friends I have that don't have a union job are at greater risk of loosing their jobs in this poor economy. Also I am in an industry benefiting from the poor econ and high fuel prices, major comapnies don't wanna ship by truck because it costs so much now. Now they are shipping by rail. I will say the one that sucks about my union is the we are one of a few that can't go on strike because of what we do for the country. There is a clause in our contract that states the military can force us back to work if we go on strike. We do "strike" but its in a silent manor.
Unions have their place. But for the most part, I am not a fan.
Had some grilled ham and cheese for supper. Was good.
I like 9mm. Plenty of power with the right ammunition. I'd like to get a few 45s at some point though.

I still have my Glock 21 that I kept when I retired but because I never practice with it, I only keep the revolvers and SG handy.
We couldn’t strike either so our union was sometimes a joke.

LS diesel fuel, they do smoke like they run coal
I couldn't agree with you more, union do have there place. Industries like mine they do, but in other they don't. I was never a fan of them, still on the fence but at least this one fights for our job and doesn't ask for stupid amounts of money for our hrly rates. I live near chicago, the town was built on unions so its a prominent thing here.

Night shift checking in. Sorry I missed that lunch.
Hoping to get another Sig soon myself. Sounds like the dept. is planning on going from the 226 to the new 229DAK. Might get a .40 to go with the 9 from the last time they changed over.

Iker42: Happy birthday…where is the beer?
Jbjarko: Kind of like the show but they really have started hamming it up (conflicts etc) for the camera.
Redleg: I have been away from it for so long. Had to look up 229DAK cause I had never heard of it. Nice!

Yeah, all the sigs are nice, just not sure about dual action only for performance? I do like the looks of the new HK's and Smith's, but should be able to get a deal on the sig. ALso, they got our shield lazer etched on the slide for I.D. when they went to the .40 and it' looks pretty sharp.
It's Alive (finally)
