Oh, yeah, I'm babysitting again so the wife can go jookin with her friends while I'm gimped up at the house. I think she's went out more since I've been hurt than she has in the past year.

I told her if she finds someone new, I don't care, just don't lie to me. I'll help her pack and everything. Won't even be mad.

HEY HAT > how ya expect kids to learn if they don`t ask their dad questions ?

This is when you have to be a dad and not a Marine !

Smart women taking advantage of your current misfortune by having a built in babysitter. Down right genius in my book.

If you want you can tell her when she gets home that your coming up to my place for a couple weeks of R&R. We might have a few beers also.

Doctor visit was interesting today. I sent my wife, who wanted me to see this guy, a play by play for a bit just so she could share in the joy of my visit while she was at work. It started off well enough, the office manager was a royal 'B' something or other. I got past her only after I paid for services yet to be rendered, regardless of quality.

Next, on to the first station, get you b/p taken here.........and then the computer froze up. (insert theme from Jeopardy) While I was waiting for the computer to thaw, I was accosted by a blonde vampire. I'll admit, she was good with the stick but I was a full quart low when she was finished.

OK, now on to station 2, sit and wait for the next room.

Station 3, the comfortable and always boring exam room. I'll say this, this office moves you along pretty well. I only had about another 15 minutes until the doc showed up. Nice guy, seems like a good doc, but short, fat fingers are not your friend. Thank you Eric! Throw in an EKG and you're done here.

Station 4, ex-ray. Pretty simple here, just try not glow in the dark when you leave. Oh, remember your garlic, the vampire also works here.

Station 5 was low impact, for now. Just sit there while the nurse sets up a nuclear stress test. I've got 2 weeks to train for that one. woohoo!!!

Station 6, set up another opportunity for the vampire to recharge on my blood in 3 weeks then it was out the door.

The results were;
  • b/p is up, 160/95
  • Sugar is up, 141
  • Cholesterol is good, 178

I'm now on meds for the elevated b/p effective today.
As earlier, stress test in 2 weeks.
Another sugar test before the next appointment.
No problem with the prostate.
