Oh the beef cut was a chuck steak. I knew it would be tricky getting a nice finish from it (bulk pack from Kroger) but with a good prep and a careful grill this cut came out pretty good. I'd call it a pretty similar finish to a NY Strip.

Good evening.

Let's see if we can stop all the PETA bashing, shall we? PETA people have feelings too and we should be cognizant of that and act with understanding and compassion.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Labor Day.

We should have tackled that project when I was there. Granted, we had issues with the trampoline. Wiring wouldn't have been such a wise idea the other night.

I think I know enough about electricity that I'm not gonna get it.

Josh and I had a good time trying to re-attach the netting for the trampoline... urinating drunk... Josh was bouncing up and down trying to reach the top, and I was trying to zip tie it up.... no bueno. It was funny as crap!

No fair. They scare me to death. Funny thing is the University says I should feel lucky that I get bats every year because they are sort of rare up here. They still dont know where they roost during winter. I dont feel lucky.

According to Shorts, PETA people are also darn good eating.
Figure they have been grazing on organic veggies and doing nothing but bleating, they should be pretty tender.
Mmmmmm, and wrapped in a little bacon, some Worcestershire sauce splashed on em over some quality apple or mesquite coals----Im getting hungry.

What's the difference between a PETA and a PITA?

I guess I don't know what a PETA is. Dumb in my old age

PETA - People eating tasty animals

PITA - Pain in the A$$

If you eat the wrong PETA you need a little helper so you don't have PITA

OK I got it now. Thanks Shorts.

I knew what a PITA was. I can be one sometimes. Don't we all?
