evening DTR.

perfect weather here today! it was Sunny and 70* with a little breeze, gonna be down around 50* tonight. I'm thinkin we're gonna have an early fall this year, leaves are already changing colors on some of the trees.

Remember, since monday is labor day no is allowed to labor unless it's on double time and a half. Enjoy the day off if you have it! I'm going with dad tomorrow afternoon to pick up some equipment he bought, said he needed someone to come with to help him.

Evening fellow DTR members, southern Alberta continues to provide us with crazy weather. We had 3 days of 50F weather earlier in the week, had frost and 32F the last two nights. It is currently 82F and it is supposed to be close to 90F by mid-week. Dinner tonite will be corn on the cob picked from the garden 15 minutes ago and bbq beef tenderloin from the 4H steer that grew up in the neighbors' field that is 50 feet north of the house. Corn on the cob and beef should be all good!!!
The fields are alive with the sounds of JD combines. Canola being cut as far as I can see in every direction. Apparently wheat and barley are next. The field directly south of me is malting barley. How can I short-cut the path between the field and the beer bottle???

Sounds good! I have some beef from a local farmer, cow was only grass fed, the meat tastes alot better than the stuff you buy at the store! I'm sure that tenderloin is very good!

Make your own... they sell some decent starter kits for DIY beer, they are not the real deal, but it'll get your foot in the door of home brewing...

Evenin.

OL is in there slaving over the stove making guinness Mac and Cheese and Guinness soaked sausage while Josh and I drink beer and watch Heartbreak Ridge... It's the good life!
