If the weather is going to be bad, I may run up there and check on it. I have a cyberfriend who keeps an eye on it for me, but he was last known to be in Vermont. We haven't heard from him in days. We're all hoping he's OK. I may have to do a rescue mission
I'm just afraid the brook will undermine the high pressure gaqs line there. It's not in plain site where it can be easily seen. My responsibility is to my neighbors, not the pipe line. It looks like the farm is in ground zero.
I'm going to PM you. Maybe we can link up. You're not that far from me

Ok, finished that part, cleaned up for the evening. Tomorrow I'll get the third piece of angle attached with hinges.

Can you explain that please?
Yeah, definitely need to sharpen those bits. I used the HSS set that I recently picked up in a lot of tools. I thought they'd do better than they did. What took the longest was the initial pilot hole through the entire piece. Once that was done, I stepped sizes (used 4 I think). What I found silly was to finish out the last one, the 1/2", I had to go to my well used and abused el cheapo black and decker "all purpose" bit. Go figure.
I thought my drill was going to catch on fire. Sucker got hot and I kept pushing it since I was so close to the end. Boy it kicks like a mule when it catches those big bits though.
No, it's true. I give him a hard time because he has "office hands"

Put the two pieces of angle iron on top or each other.
If you are drilling through the top one to the secone one, the hole in the second will be 1 metal thickness closer to the edge. I didn't know if that mattered or not.
Whatja buildin there? Or don't we want to know

Ohh ok, I see what you mean. I'll remember that. Thanks. I'm putting together a sheet metal break to bend up some drawers. Got two 4x8 sheet of 16ga on the floor. my first stumble into sheet metal so if things come out functioning properly I'll be happy.
