This is one of the craziest things I have ever seen related to cars. This guy built a fully functioning 1:3 scale Ferrari.

That takes an extraordinary craftsman.

Uhhh Yeah.

I take it he's not the kind of guy that would have opted for the snap together over a glue model??

3 years of drawings, very cool.

That is some dedication.....It didn't say, if he had a wife or not. I doubt it though.

the valves and motor etc are the most amazing to me...so small and precision engineered to get the right sound.

i still love that guy who built the 1:4 scale super charged hemi motor that ran on a stand. that was cool and the supercharger was functional and all.

What good is that?? 15 years of his life invested and he can't even drive it??!?
I must be missing something. Its cool and all, but 15 years is like 1/4 of a lifetime

Heck - if I was going to invest that much time and money in a project I would've just made the darn thing full size so I could drive it !!! Heck - I can't imagine it'd have cost THAT much more money - his money was spent in the casting of the dies, the design, etc.

Maybe I'm wrong? I'm not an engineer, nor do I have the patience to do something like that.

Hey - maybe Verne Troyer (mini-me) would be interested in buying it!
