Made from beef tallow (fat from cows) and approved by the API. They have 5-30 oil only right now, no 15w-40, but they do have 2 stroke oil and tcw3. Maybe we might see something more applicable for us diesel folk. A local round here just tipped me off on these products, supposedly the motor oil is biodegradable and can last longer than conventional synthetics.

Thoughts???

From the website:

GET-Products replace the petrochemical base of traditional appearance and performance chemicals with an Ultimate Biodegradable bio base made with plants or animal fat. It is sustainable and can be collected domestically with grown beef, pork, chicken fat and plant oils. Bottles are made with 30% post consumer recyclable plastic and our labels are printed with water based inks on recycled paper. Plant & animal fats GET recycled to make a highly demanded product in place of foreign oil.

Looks pretty cool. They say they are selling it but don't list where yet. They even have printable coupons. I wonder what the cost is? I would try it in the wifes vehicle since hers uses the 5w30 oil.

From what I read Amazon and The Home Depot are the only ones out of a supposed list of vendors that actually stock it. Wanna try some for my stihls.

Thanks. I'll check it out. I would also try the 2 stroke in my lawn equipment!

Why would you want to fry your shoes?
