Say it isn't so leader of the goofballs! As sad as it is to hear you have to sell the truck grab the 12 valve and don't look back.

Yes, no payment is nice. The obvious thing is, you always seem to be working on something so you have to squirrel away $$$ for the monthly repairs instead of monthly payments.

If it were me, I would look for an older one somewhere down south out of the "salt belt".

very true about the little repairs, I went well over a year with no problems at all and then got hit with two biggies in a months time my new rear end and transmission set me back over 5k in a months span.

That's why I prefer a newer truck. "Usually" less problems...

DZ,

I have been seeing several 3rd gen QC/Shorty 2wd going for about 15,000 with lower miles under 50,000. That might be something to look into. We all know how much you liked your 03'.

I'm having a tough time convincing myself that I can live with a 2wd. Where I have to park my trailer beside the house is on a slight decline. Everytime I hook up to it I immediately have to pull it uphill. That's no problem for any Cummins but if the yard is the slightest bit wet then I will definitely tear the yard up with the 2wd. I also really want a LB again if I don't have a Megacab. I also prefer a low mileage, later model, Laramie, Leather, Sunroof, DVD, Nav,......... Oh wait, I already have that truck.....

I'll find something soon once this sale is finally completed..

You can hang onto the MEGA-PIMP-VAN title I gave you. Patent still pending.
