Looking for a TD 2500, quick question

sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find any information from searching, that could be due to this not being covered previously or me having no idea what to really search for .

Anyway, my ideal truck would be a 99-01 2500 H.O. (6spd) TD, 4x4, extended cab (4 doors) short box. No duallys for me please .

Now for my question, In all the H.O. trucks i've found none have been a short box, all have long beds. It's probably just me thinking I know more than I do, but it makes sense to me for such a large truck geared towards work/hauling that maybe they didn't even offer them with the shorter bed size? Or at the very least the people looking to get these trucks brand new weren't looking for the shorter bed so very few actually exist.

Anyway i've done a lot of searching on different things I need to look for, i'm new to diesels and big dodges all together (have owned/driven a 95 dakota for some time now) but am very exited to get into one and start hauling all my cars all over the place .

thanks for any help,

James

[edit]blah, and i just realized I posted this in the wrong forum , very sorry, if a mod could move it I would appreciate it a lot.[/edit]

YES---the HO's in 01 and 02------none prior with the NV5600 6-Speed-----came in short and long box versions. I have drove both and owned a LB-01-HO-NV5600!! I loved that Truck!!!! My best friend now owns it and I have my 06!! Just keep searching and you will find one!

awesome, there is hope . Probably won't be until after winter (or what used to be winter) that i'll really get serious about buying one, so I definitly have time. In the mean time i've gotta get rid of my gas powered f250 plow truck, and my daily driver awd subaru. Looks like my year range just changed to 01-02, thanks boostjunkie1 .

No Problem!!!! One thing to remember---VP44 Fuel Pump!!!!! I would have a dealer take a look at this pump and the pusher pump on the truck to make sure that everything is ok!! This is the most common problem with that year modle truck!!!! Do a search on it and read for hours!!!!! Fuel Pressure Gauges are a must!
