I have not been a whole person since I left...

Kind of hard to argue with that. If you feel you need to go back, then go back. You'd regret it if you didn't and felt you should have. It takes a special kind of person to be a drill instructor. It's not something just anyone can do. Go beat on some new kids Mark.

 

But who is going to keep us in line here? Wait, maybe I will try and go in just so I can say I had you as a DI. Seriously, Thanks for doing what you do. Hope it doesn’t goof up the home life too much.

where's your gunnery sergeant in all this? I can't keep this straight... works better in a club with some adult beverages and a bunch of tales to tell (and NO navy guys!!!)

I could never do your job as good as you. I cannot give unbiased opinions or good advice. Its just not in me. You know theres no love like tough love. I was trying to get you ready for boot camp (oh wait, you are the one that is supposed to say stuff like that)

I guess this is just one more thing you can add to the list of "Madhats kick butt life" list. You are living the life, I am happy for you. I look forward to hearing some stories.

Honestly, what else could you ask for? A 12sec. Dodge, beautiful, healthy family, and you get to go yell at people and blow stuff up all day.
