Thumbs up "LOOK" What I did Today! (Pictures)

I took My #2 Daughter and Nephew today and we went and rode the miniture trains. If you ever get a chance to do this, I stongly recommended it it's a lot of fun.

That looks fun..

Been wanting to take my daughter to something like that, she is so hooked on Thomas the Tank Engine. We did ride the DC metro this weekend for her first train ride. It was fun for her.

We did that at Queen Wilamena in Mena Ar last fall. The kids loved it almost as much as I did. Great place if you get the chance to go.

We get news letters from our local train museum (San Luis Obispo) that tells us about train events. There is a bigger event coming up in May in Santa Margarita. This guy bought one of the old trains from Disneyland. It's pretty sweet. Let me know if your interested and I can get you some info.

Edit: Here is the info Nikki for May:

Ufortunatly we had to get rid of our mini train. Some guy tiped one over at another park and killed a girl so we got rid of our for insurance and safty reasons. We do still have the 1/4 scale train. Has an old detroit diesel in it. Real nice and is around 70 years old.

Those mini trains are pretty fun. My brother in law runs a 1/3 scale train up at a retreat in the Sierras somewhere near the town of Grizzly Flats.

Those are fun, i got to ride on one out west somewhere when i was little, i barely remember it. If you ever make it through northern ILL there is a train museum called the Illinios Railway Museum, it's near rockford il. I was there about 8 yrs ago or so and they had a working passenger train ride. I was pretty cool.
