Question >>> LOADER CONTROL VALVEs ???

In regards to my recently purchased tractor described here :

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...r-t250501.html

I have no idea who built the loader that came with my tractor, but I suspect it to be a WOODS brand, providing they ever did build small loaders.

Whatever it is, it has a pair of control valves/handles, one for the mast and the other for the bucket.

On examining these valves, it appears that the outside end-pieces, inlet from the pump and outlet to the tank, and each individual control valve, are seperate modular-like components, all sandwiched together.

If this be so, then I could remove one of the ends and add a couple more control valves for operating other functions.

Is this possible/feasible, or am I seeing things that aren't there ??

If I am right about the valves being a sandwich, then how am I going to identify the particular brand and find more sections ??

I am probably not fortunate enough for the valves to be something standard and interchangeable.

Thanks.

You want to sandwich them so you don't have to run extra lines right??

My neighbor is an equipment dealer and chances are he knows what you have, take a pic and send it to me an I can find out what I can for ya.

BK, take some pics of the components and post them up. You're working on an antique so the more info you can provide the more likely you are to get help. I read your other thread just now and would like to suggest you look for an ID tag on the filter mount for the aux. hydraulic system. Often you can find a part number and manufacturer info there for the filter mount. That may help you match a filter. If there are any equipment auctions or old equipment dealers in your area you might show up with pics and somebody may be able to ID the loader.

The way you have described them they are most certainly a stacked valve. If you can figure out what brand or even design you can add several more too it. When we built wreckers we kept the end caps in stock and several spool valve centers. Some would reqiure 3 or 4 spools some used 9 or 10. Pics would help a lot.

I thought I had a rare tractor, but then I found one just like it on E-Bay, located in South Dakota.

I am very soon going to take time and learn how to do pictures, then I will post up some pictures of the valves for identification.

Although the tractor is Japanese, the loader is definitely American.

Maybe I can scratch around on those valves and find some lettering or numbers.

Thanks for all of your assistance.
